Tj Bowen

TJ Bowen began their work experience as a consultant in 2003, before transitioning to a role as a consultant at L.E.K. Consulting in 2005. In 2007, they joined CAS as an Assistant Director, responsible for product marketing and development. At CAS, they implemented a migration to Hadoop and open-source technology and adopted an Agile development philosophy. From 2014 to 2018, TJ worked at Cardinal Health as the Director of Innovation Solutions. They then co-founded Deep Lens in 2018, where they served as the COO and focused on democratizing clinical trials and accelerating the availability of life-changing oncology drugs. Most recently, TJ joined Freenome as the Head of Digital Product in 2023.

TJ Bowen obtained a Ph.D in Biomedical Sciences from UC San Diego School of Medicine from 1999 to 2005. Prior to that, they earned a B.S. in Biology from Pepperdine University, studying from 1994 to 1999.
