Meghan Couture

Meghan Couture is a Global Supply Chain Sustainability Specialist at Freeport-McMoRan since June 2025, with previous experience as a Sustainability Analyst at Nikola Corporation, where responsibilities included benchmarking climate disclosures, conducting greenhouse gas accounting aligned with GHG protocols, and engaging with ESG rating agencies. Prior to this, Meghan held the position of Sales Lead at REI, leading membership sales and contributing to sustainability initiatives in retail. As the founding Student Representative of the GVSU Campus Waste Strategy Committee, significant contributions were made to improve waste management practices on campus. Additionally, Meghan served as an Aquatic Field Intern at Huron River Watershed Council, focusing on water quality management, and functioned as a Mentor Resident Assistant at Grand Valley State University, supporting resident wellbeing and community engagement. Meghan holds an MBA in Sustainability Management and Analytics from Concordia University Ann Arbor and a BS in Natural Resource Management from Grand Valley State University, further complemented by international study at the University of Sydney.
