Karen Perez P.e.

Karen Perez, P.E. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Karen began their career in 2007 as the Chairman of Dona Ana County Commission, where they served until 2013. In 2011, they founded Grace Engineering LLC and worked as President until 2015. Following that, they joined El Paso Electric Company as a Senior Engineer from 2015 to 2018. Currently, Perez is employed as a Lead Engineer at Freese and Nichols, starting in October 2018.

Karen Perez, P.E. obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Civil Engineering from New Mexico State University between 1995 and 2000. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Agricultural Engineering from the same university from 1989 to 1995. Additionally, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Affairs from The George Washington University from 1982 to 1984.
