Swapnil Shah is the CEO and Founder of Freight Tiger, a leading logistics software company. Swapnil has over 15 years of experience in the logistics and transportation industry.

Prior to starting Freight Tiger, Shah was with Dana Holding Corporation, where they served as Office of the Group President and CSO. In this role, they worked with the Executive Committee of the company and Private Equity investor, Centerbridge Partners, in Business and Operations turnaround of the company. Successes include managing and turning around a distressed supplier, improving customer and product profitability significantly, setting up commercial vehicle business and country management structure in India, which included restructuring a JV in India, setting up new operations in Pune, Chennai and Pantnagar and working with Ashok Leyland and TATA in launching new products in the commercial vehicle/trucking industry in India. Worked with the Chief Strategy Officer of the company in Corporate/Growth Strategy and Joint Venture Management.

Before joining Dana Holding Corporation, Shah was a Rock Summer Fellow at the Arthur Rock Center for Entrepreneurship at Harvard Business School. Swapnil also has Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Caterpillar Logistics Inc. and has worked as a Manager - Remanufacturing Programs at Caterpillar Inc.

Swapnil Shah has an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MS in 2.967 International Shipping from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an MS in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Swapnil also has a BE in Metallurgy from the College of Engineering Pune.
