Matthew Robertson

Matthew Robertson has a diverse work experience in software development and engineering. Matthew is currently working at FreshBooks as an Engineering Lead since July 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at FreshBooks from February 2020 to July 2023. Matthew also worked at SPIN VR as an AR/VR Rendering Engineer, where they developed a Node.js and React-based AR-enabled 3D presentation tool.

Matthew has experience in fullstack development, with an emphasis on 3D rendering. Matthew has also worked at Autodesk as a Software Development Co-op and as a Software Developer Co-op, and at Virtek Vision International as a Software Development Co-op PDC. Matthew has additionally worked as a Software Development Engineer at Intel Security, a Software Developer at RideCo, and a Software Developer at Bayer HealthCare. Matthew has a background in audio engineering as well, having worked as an Audio Engineer at Riverview Arts Centre.

Matthew Robertson attended the University of Waterloo from 2013 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.
