River Braden

River Braden has a diverse work experience in the field of chemical engineering. They started as a Chemical Engineering Intern at KOWA Advanced Technology in 2019. This role provided them with hands-on experience in the field. They then worked as a Chemical Engineering Co-Op at Brown-Forman from December 2020 to May 2021, further enhancing their skills.

Currently, River is employed at FreshFry, where they have held multiple roles. They started as a Chemical Engineering Intern from May 2021 to August 2021. During this time, they gained experience in creating novel extraction and precipitation processes, performing material and energy balances, executing analytical analysis of oils, and conducting material characterization for experimental products. They also regularly collaborated with the CEO for data analysis and determining market demand.

Following their internship, River progressed to an Associate Product Manager position at FreshFry from July 2022 to April 2023. In this role, they proved their capability to handle product management responsibilities. Currently, they hold the role of a Product Consultant, starting in May 2023, continuing their career progression within the company.

River Braden attended Whitley County High School from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained their high school diploma. They went on to study at the University of the Cumberlands from 2016 to 2019, earning a Dual Credit in General Studies. River then pursued a Bachelor's of Science (BS) in Chemical Engineering at the University of Louisville from 2019 to 2023. Additionally, River obtained various certifications, including data analysis with Python, JavaScript algorithms and data structures, professional scrum master I (PSM I), relational database skills, responsive web design, lean six sigma green belt, six sigma green belt (CSSGB), and PMI agile certified practitioner (PMI-ACP). They also completed several leadership and technical courses. In 2022, River enrolled in freeCodeCamp for computer software engineering studies.
