Diana Ballou has a diverse range of work experience. Diana began their career as a Legal Research Assistant at the University of Miami School of Law in 2001. From there, they worked as an Associate at Ferraro & Associates, handling personal injury and related cases.
In 2002, Diana joined Barranco, a general practice firm, as an Associate. Here, they dealt with various matters such as contract litigation, personal injury, and dissolution of marriage. Diana gained extensive experience in the litigation process, including drafting motions and preparing for trial.
In 2005, Diana moved to David L. Swimmer, P.A., where they became an Associate and focused on complex construction defect litigation. Diana handled insurance defense, develop claims, and subcontractor defense. Diana was involved in all stages of the litigation process and had regular client contact.
In 2010, Diana joined Company Confidential as an Associate Counsel, focusing on litigation. Diana'sresponsibilities included initiating lawsuits, creating corporate compliance programs, and reviewing corporate agreements.
Diana's most recent position, starting in December 2013, was at a Confidential Company. Diana initially held the role of Vice President, Senior Counsel, guiding the company through Chapter 11 bankruptcy. In February 2017, they were promoted to General Counsel and Vice President. Diana'sduties expanded to include protecting and enhancing the company's international copyright and trademark portfolio.
Throughout their career, Diana has gained valuable experience in various aspects of the legal field, including litigation, compliance, intellectual property, and bankruptcy.
Diana Ballou began their education in 1994 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology in 1998. Afterward, in 1998, they enrolled at the University of Miami School of Law, where they pursued their Juris Doctor degree in Law until 2001.
