Miranda Ramirez has been a Research Assistant at Friends Research Institute, Inc. since June 2012, where responsibilities include conducting street outreach, recruiting study participants, and administering assessments. In addition, Miranda serves as a Peer Health Navigator for a HRSA-funded project aimed at connecting transgender individuals with HIV medical care. Prior experience includes working as an Outreach Worker at Friends Community Center since June 2013. Miranda holds an Associate of Arts degree in Education/Teaching of Individuals in Early Childhood Special Education Programs from Penn Foster Group and an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Clinical/Medical Social Work from California State University, Long Beach.
