Chris Zalewski

Christopher Zalewski is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in plant biology, genetics, and molecular biology. Currently serving as Vice President Operations and Founder/CSO at Front Range Biosciences since April 2015, Christopher focuses on advancing agricultural science within the cannabis industry. Previous roles include Lead Scientist/Seed Health Manager at Ag-Biotech Seed Health Testing, where Christopher established a pathology testing division and achieved notable accreditations, and Seed Health Manager at Summit Plant Laboratories Inc. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Plant Biology from the University of California, Davis, and a Master’s in Public Administration with a focus on Environmental Economics from Indiana University Bloomington. Christopher has a strong research background with postdoctoral fellowships at UC Berkeley and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, contributing significantly to advancements in synthetic biology and bioinformatics.
