Chamini Karunaratne

Chamini Karunaratne is a Senior Research Development Scientist at Frontier Scientific, Inc. since December 2018, with extensive experience in organic chemistry and drug discovery. Previous roles include Scientist at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where Chamini synthesized and purified organic compounds and designed small molecule inhibitors for oncology, and Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of North Texas, focusing on new reaction methodologies. Additional experience includes conducting research at Miami University and Louisiana State University, where Chamini designed novel inhibitors targeting STAT3 and synthesized biologically important peptides. Chamini holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Colombo.
