Leslie Bailey

Leslie Bailey has a diverse work experience in the field of technical writing and communication. They started their career in 1985 at Computer Sciences Corporation, where they wrote technical documentation for the development and data security departments. They then moved on to National Decision Systems in 1989, where they managed a team and produced documentation for demographic mapping software. At Sterling Software, Inc, Leslie worked as an E-marketing manager, managing a team of five and writing hardbound software manuals. Leslie also worked as a proofreader at the California Pharmacist Association from 2007 to 2010. They joined Escape Technology in 2000, where they managed the website, wrote technical documents, and handled RFPs. Most recently, Leslie worked at Frontline Education as a Sr. Instructional Writer and Community Leader, where they wrote user documentation, created training materials, and established outreach and communication activities. Throughout their career, Leslie has demonstrated strong writing and communication skills, as well as expertise in various software tools.

Leslie Bailey completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) in English Language and Literature at California State University-Sacramento from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, from 1981 to 1985, Leslie earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Language and Literature/Letters from California State University, Chico. In 2018, Leslie obtained a certification in MadCap Advanced Developer from MadCamp. Additionally, Leslie has acquired several additional certifications, including "How Managers Create a Culture of Belonging" from LinkedIn in September 2022, "Using Articulate Rise 360 for Rapid-Deployment Training" from LinkedIn in February 2022, "Learning Articulate Rise" from LinkedIn in July 2021, and "Premiere Pro Guru: Mastering the Timeline" from LinkedIn in April 2021.
