Alejandro Moncada

Alejandro Moncada has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Alejandro started their career as a Desarrollador de Software at Instituto de Estudios Urbanos IEU in 2012 and worked in that role until 2013. In 2012, they also joined Departamento Administrativo de la Defensoría del Espacio Público, where they focused on developing and supporting the creation of information systems until 2016. From 2016 to 2017, Alejandro worked as a Diseñador de Infraestructura Tecnológica at Facultad de Ciencias Económicas U.N. Bogotá. Alejandro then joined Universidad Nacional de Colombia in 2011 and held multiple roles including Ingeniero de Software, Administrador de Tecnologías de la Información, and Investigador IoT until 2019. During their time at Universidad Nacional de Colombia, they also worked as a Docente a Tiempo Parcial from 2017 to 2017. Since 2019, Alejandro has been working at Frubana, where they started as a DevOps Engineer and later progressed to Tech Lead - DevOps before assuming their current position as Head of DevOps starting in November 2021.

Alejandro Moncada pursued their education at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from 2009 to 2016. After completing their undergraduate studies, they continued their academic journey at the same institution and obtained a Master's degree in Systems and Computer Engineering with a focus on computational and applied Mathematics from 2016 to 2021.
