Venkat Kamath

Venkat Kamath is an experienced technology leader with a robust background in the financial services sector. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of the FS Investments India Office since October 2024, Venkat oversees strategic and operational functions while focusing on developing technology solutions for investment management. Previous roles include Head of Technology for Wholesale and Commercial Banking at Kotak Mahindra Bank and Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, where responsibilities spanned transaction banking engineering. Venkat has also held various senior positions at J.P. Morgan, Barclays Capital, Lehman Brothers, UBS, Tavant Technologies, and i2 Technologies. Venkat holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, earned between 1998 and 2002.
