Role Overview 

We are seeking a Lead Consultant to play a crucial role helping to deliver transformation solutions within our growing Identity team. This role is ideal for an experienced consultant with hands-on technical knowledge of Identity and IAM systems.  

The perfect candidate will have a track record of designing, building and supporting identity systems at scale, have experience across Microsoft and other industry brand solutions, and have a track record of delivering transformation within technical roles. Your expertise will be vital in helping to deliver tangible improvements and innovative solutions for our clients.   

Responsibilities 

  • Lead and manage identity projects from requirements gathering through solution design and deployment.

  • Identify and explain solutions for existing and potential clients to solve their most complex problems

  • Work with key vendors and their platforms to develop exciting, innovative and scalable solutions.

  • Analyse and assess existing identity platforms and infrastructure, identify risks, recommend improvements and transformation opportunities.

  • Identify improvements to, and further ways to exploit, investments in existing cloud and on-premise platforms, translating effort into improved return-on-investment.

  • Understand compliance and the necessity of meeting industry standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure the highest standards of delivery and client satisfaction, maintaining our position as a trusted partner.

  • Be a subject matter expert and work with appropriate vendors/partners, enhancing our brand's visibility and fostering important relationships.

About you 

  • Experienced technical consultant in the Identity domain, both on-premise and in the cloud, combining a deep curiosity and passion for technology, security, and identity with a developed sense for good engineering and a pragmatic approach to risk management.

  • A strong network built while working with a variety of organisations and vendors across different capabilities and market sectors

  • A keen eye for what’s wrong or misconfigured and methodical approach to problem solving. A knowledge of how to improve processes, identify risks and recognise common threat themes in identity and authentication environments.

  • A technical background having worked with Microsoft Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, hybrid deployments and related systems.

  • A background of leading or helping to develop secure identity architecture for hybrid-cloud and/or cloud-first client environments, with a knowledge of how to integrate both modern and legacy systems.

  • Demonstrable experience of influencing architectural principles, standards, operating models and roadmaps to support transformation and improvements.

Knowledge and experience of the following would be advantageous:  

  • Proficiency in developing leads and taking new capabilities to market for complex enterprise environments.

  • Experience of integrating enterprise platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and virtual environments with IAM.

  • Knowledge of zero trust principles  and modernising organisations to meet cybersecurity demands.

  • A strong consulting experience working across multiple sectors and disciplines

  • Possession of industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Microsoft/other vendors) is beneficial.
