Valerie Hoffman has a diverse work experience in the energy sector. Valerie started their career in 1998 as a Nuclear Electrician's Mate in the US Navy, where they worked until 2007. In 2007, they joined FuelCell Energy and held various positions with increasing responsibility. Valerie'sroles at FuelCell Energy include working as a Global Monitoring & Control Center Operation Technician, Global Monitoring & Control Center Shift Lead, East Region Field Service Team Lead, Supervisor of Global Monitoring & Control Center, Manager of Global Monitoring & Control Center and East Region Field Service, and Manager of Field Service North America. Currently, Valerie Hoffman is working as the Director of Service Operations at FuelCell Energy.

Valerie Hoffman completed their Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear/Nuclear Power Technology/Technician from Excelsior University in 2016-2017. Valerie later pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General at the University of Saint Francis from 2019-2020. In 2021, Valerie Hoffman obtained a Master of Organizational Leadership from the University of Saint Francis.
