Vishruth Gowda

Vishruth Gowda is an experienced Associate Principal Scientist at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies, leading cross-site teams in the development of platforms for AAV particles and gene therapy applications. With expertise in managing teams of scientists, Vishruth has successfully overseen the development of multiple vaccine and gene therapy programs while providing scientific input for lentiviral and adenoviral production. Previous roles include Senior Scientist and Scientist at FUJIFILM Diosynth, specializing in downstream process development, scalable purification strategies, and training for new hires. Vishruth holds a PhD in Chemistry from Texas A&M University, where research focused on beta-lactoglobulin and age-related macular degeneration. Additional experience includes positions as a Graduate Assistant in bioprocess development and a Product Development Chemist at GlaxoSmithKline. Educational qualifications also include an MSc in Chemistry and a BSc in Microbiology, Chemistry, and Zoology.
