Lisa Truong is a Research Scientist at FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific since December 2022 and previously served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) from August 2015 to October 2022. In the Patrick Allard Lab at UCLA, extensive research focused on the impact of environmental toxicants like Bisphenol A on gene expression and reproductive health across generations. As a Graduate Researcher at UCLA, Lisa developed a single-nucleus extraction protocol and utilized single-nucleus RNA-seq to analyze the effects of ethanol exposure. Initiating research endeavors as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of California, Davis, investigations included the role of atl-1 in meiotic DNA damage repair. Additional experiences comprise roles as a Clinical Research Assistant at the UC Davis Medical Center and an Emergency Room Intern. Lisa holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Human/Medical Genetics from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Genetics and Genomics from the University of California, Davis.
