Product Manager - Neuroscience at FUJIFILM Cellular Dynamics

Scott Schachtele has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Scott is currently working as a Product Manager - Neuroscience at FUJIFILM Cellular Dynamics since February 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Sr. Product Marketing Manager at ScaleReady from February 2021 to February 2022.

Scott has extensive experience at Bio-Techne, where they held multiple roles. Scott worked as a Product Manager from January 2020 to February 2021, overseeing the marketing strategy and product launches for the cell and gene therapy business unit. Scott also served as a Product Marketing Manager from July 2018 to January 2020, playing a crucial role in brand integration and supporting product launches.

Before joining Bio-Techne, Scott worked at R&D Systems. Scott served as a Product Marketing Manager from July 2015 to July 2018, where they oversaw marketing strategies for stem cell, cell culture, and cell therapy businesses. Additionally, they held the position of Marketing Content Manager from August 2016 to August 2017, managing a team of content developers and implementing project tracking processes. Scott also worked as a Life Science Content Developer from April 2014 to August 2016, where they researched and developed scientific content for marketing initiatives.

Earlier in their career, Scott gained valuable research experience at the University of Minnesota and the University of Iowa. Scott worked as a Research Associate at the University of Minnesota from August 2011 to April 2014, focusing on the neuropathology of viral brain infection. Prior to that, Scott was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the same institution from August 2008 to July 2011. Scott also pursued a Neuroscience PhD at the University of Iowa from August 2002 to June 2008.

Before their academic pursuits, Scott worked as a Scientist at Neuromics, Inc. from February 2001 to July 2002. In this role, they contributed to gene delivery approaches for chronic pain treatment and was involved in experiment conduction, data analysis, and team building efforts.

Scott Schachtele obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Neuroscience from The University of Minnesota, where they studied from 1996 to 2001. Scott further pursued their education at the University of Iowa, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Neuroscience from 2002 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Scott Schachtele has obtained various certifications in the field of Product Management. Scott completed the Optimal Product Management and Product Marketing Certification from 280 Group in August 2018. Scott also completed the Accidental Marketer Course from Impact Planning Group in June 2015.

More recently, Scott Schachtele has obtained several certifications from Pragmatic Institute. Scott obtained the Product Management Foundations Certification and the Product Management Focus Certification in February 2020. In March 2020, they completed the Product Management Launch Training. Scott Schachtele also obtained the PMC Level III certification from Pragmatic Institute in July 2020.
