Marjorie Light has over two decades of experience in education, currently serving as the Director of Curriculum at East Granby High School since August 2017 and as a Distinguished Teacher and Researcher with the US-UK Fulbright Commission since August 2016, where notable research was conducted at the University of Nottingham. Prior roles include teaching and writing at J.D. Clement Early College High School, where emphasis was placed on supporting underrepresented minorities, and earlier positions in various schools and educational roles, developing curricula and analyzing educational assessments. Additionally, Marjorie participated in research programs with Ply Gem and Duke Energy Corporation, and has a background in publishing and education consulting. Marjorie holds a Master's Degree in Education and a Bachelor of Science in English with a minor in Business from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
