Associate Scientist at Fulcrum Therapeutics

Emily Fitz is currently working as an Associate Scientist at Fulcrum Therapeutics, where Emily focuses on assay development for genetic and target validation in the research of genetically rare diseases. Prior to this, Emily held positions at Neural Stem Cell Institute as a Laboratory Technician, researching the use of intrabodies in neurodegenerative diseases and developing skills in various lab techniques. Emily also worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at Union College, where Emily conducted thesis research in Professor Cohen's lab on the role of follicle stimulating hormone in osteoporosis and oral disease. Emily holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences and Classics from Union College.
