Your opportunity

The Manager of Restructuring and Insolvency will manage a variety of insolvency engagements including viability assessments, CAA, receivership, bankruptcy proposal and consulting files.  The Restructuring and Insolvency group provides consulting services to companies in transitions, lenders, investors, and other critical stakeholders

Your major responsibilities

  • Lead formal and informal corporate insolvency engagements, including bankruptcy, receivership proposal and consulting files
  • Advise on bankruptcy practices, management of corporate insolvencies, advising lenders, creditors or shareholders through financial reviews, as well as financial restructuring of bankruptcies
  • Laise and report to banks and solicitors
  • Ensure legal requirements of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency legislation are adhered to
  • Oversee debtor assets and partner with key stakeholders such as debtors, creditors, creditors, lawyers, auctioneers and appraisers
  • Prepare and review viability assessments, including statements of estimated security position
  • Prepare financial models, including cash flow modeling and forecasting
  • Maintain effective client communication with accurate and timely information
  • Develop outcome analysis based on various circumstances
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals and various presentations
  • Business and client relationship development

What we look for

  • CPA designation
  • Enrollment or completion of the CIRP and Licensed Insolvency Trustee designations
  • Three years focused on restructuring and insolvency engagements
  • Demonstrated presentation skills to clients and stake holders
  • Project Management and strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills
