Paula Higby has extensive work experience in the retail industry, with a focus on product management. Paula began their career at Asda in 2005, where they held several roles over the course of 12 years. As a Product Manager, they were responsible for the development and launch of own-label frozen desserts, ice cream, frozen vegetables, biscuits, and snacking products. Paula successfully introduced new ranges, such as the Extra Special frozen desserts and ice cream, bake at home pastry range, Scratch Cook Ingredients, and Steambag ranges. Paula also achieved a 5% sugar reduction program for 2017 and was recognized for their products in various awards. In 2017, Paula joined Fullers Foods plc as a Retail Project Manager, where they currently work.

Paula Higby received their Bachelor's degree in Theology/Theological Studies from the University of Leeds, where they attended from 1994 to 1997. Prior to that, they attended Henry Gotch Secondary School from 1987 to 1994, but did not receive a degree or specify a field of study.
