 About the role

As the Junior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our mission by working within our project build team on the construction of the cutting-edge fleet. 

You will support the planning, execution, and delivery of projects by assisting in coordinating tasks, communicating with stakeholders, and applying project management principles to achieve project goals effectively and efficiently. The role is expected to apply standard project disciplines to effectively manage the four project pillars: time, cost, quality and scope.  As the Junior Project Manager, you will report into the New Build Portfolio Manager.

 Key responsibilities

  • Maintain and organise project documentation including contracts, plans, specifications, and progress reports.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.

  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, maintaining project files and organising project-related documentation.

  • Identifying any potential risks to the project timeline or budget and assist in mitigating these risks.

  • Assist in implementing and monitoring quality control processes to ensure vessels meet regulatory standards and client requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.

  • Coordinate activities between different teams involved in the project, such as engineering, construction, and testing teams.

About you

  • Relevant qualification in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.

  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to effectively manage your workload.

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make critical decisions under pressure.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
