Sean O'Keefe

Sean O'Keefe has a diverse work experience history, starting with their current role as the VP of Engineering at Function Health since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Google from 2019 to 2022, serving as a Senior Software Engineer in the Research & Machine Intelligence department. From 2015 to 2019, Sean held the position of Growth Advisor at CapitalG. Sean also worked at Google as a Data Scientist from an unknown date to 2019. Before joining Google, Sean had a role as Data Researcher at Bridgewater Associates from 2011 to 2012. Sean'searliest work experience was with the United States Army, where they served as a Special Forces Engineer (Green Beret) from 2002 to 2007.

Sean O'Keefe completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science from Columbia University between 2007 and 2010. Sean then pursued a Master of Science degree in Operational Research from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2010 to 2011. In 2015, Sean attended Stanford University where they studied Computer Science, although it is unclear whether they obtained a degree. Additionally, they obtained an Executive MBA from The Wharton School, as well as some unspecified education from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
