Faye Brownell

Faye Brownell is a seasoned professional in business development and environmental resource management with extensive experience across various roles. Currently serving as a Business Development leader at DUCT RIVERS since April 2018, Faye focuses on research, innovation, advocacy, and expanding the Enviro Champs programme. As General Manager and Founding Director at Amanzi Ethu Nobuntu since September 2021, Faye has been instrumental in implementing a blended finance approach to tackle environmental and employment challenges in the uMngeni catchment area. Faye also contributes to Fundpath as a Data Executive, enhancing data and business intelligence within the wealth management sector. Previous roles include consulting on water and sanitation governance and project management at Bigen Africa, Jeffares & Green, and Partners in Development. Faye holds a Master’s Degree in Geographical Science and a Bachelor’s Degree in Rural Resource Management from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
