Senior Partnerships Manager, Technical at Fundraise Up

Chas Offutt has a long and varied work experience. In 1998, they served as a Peace Corps Volunteer, teaching life and social skills to youth, developing a training curriculum, and certifying emergency room attendants in CPR. In 2003, they began working as an Online Marketing Consultant for Outside, managing a database of specialty travel listings, producing daily email newsletters, and reporting on web statistics. That same year, they also began working as the Director of Online Communications & Membership for Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility, developing and implementing an online marketing and fundraising program. In 2006, they took on the role of Director of Internet Strategy for American Rivers, formalizing the organization's digital marketing strategy and integrated fundraising program. In 2008, they became a Lead Strategy Consultant for Blackbaud, providing strategic consultation to 75+ nonprofit client engagements. In 2014, they began working as the Senior Director of Development Services, Digital for the Public Broadcasting Service, leading strategy, development, and implementation of digital fundraising products and services. In 2021, they became the US Growth Lead for Raisely, working alongside growth, marketing, and product teams to enable dynamic P2P, community, and event-based fundraising campaigns for nonprofit organizations. Most recently, in 2022, they took on the role of Senior Partnerships Manager, Technical for Fundraise Up, with the objective of turning partnerships into the most valuable revenue channel.

Chas Offutt has a varied educational background. Chas has a MA from Antioch University Seattle in Environment & Community, a BA from Prescott College in Psychoeducation, a University of Arizona degree in Creative Writing, and attended St. Paul's School (MD).
