Farah Jaafar

Farah Jaafar has a long and varied career in the finance and communications industries. Farah began their career in 1995 as an Institutional Dealer (Equities, Commodities and Derivatives) at TA Securities Holdings. In 2000, they took on the role of General Manager at the Association of Stockbroking Companies Malaysia, as well as a Specialist Writer, Business Desk (Corporate Desk) at the New Straits Times. In 2005, they became the Head, Marketing Communications at Bursa Malaysia. In 2008, they held two positions - Director, Branding at Labuan International Business & Financial Centre and Director, Investor Relations and Corporate Practice at Millennium Associates. In 2013, they became the Director, Communications at the Asian Institute of Finance. In 2014, they took on the roles of Chief Executive Officer and Director, Market Intelligence and Strategic Communications at Labuan IBFC. Most recently, in 2022, they became the Managing Director & Chief Communications Officer at Fusang.

Farah Jaafar completed their LLB Hons in Corporate, Tax, Public and Private International Law at The University of Sheffield from 1991 to 1994. Farah is currently enrolled in INSEAD.
