Professor Danielle Citron is a Professor of Law at the University of Virginia School of Law. Prior to her current position, she was the Lois K. Macht Research Professor & Professor of Law at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. Her work focuses on information privacy, cyber law, automated systems, and civil rights. In addition to 20 articles and essays in law reviews, Professor Citron is the author of Hate Crimes in Cyberspace published by Harvard University Press in 2014. Cosmopolitan and Harper’s Bazaar nominated her book as one of the top 20 “Best Moments for Women” in 2014. She frequently writes for The Atlantic, New York Times, Time, CNN, The Guardian, the New Scientist, and Slate. She is a regular contributor at Forbes.com and Concurring Opinion.
