What’s the opportunity?

We are seeking a Brand Manager to report directly to the Head of Marketing, who will establish strategies and oversee the daily operations of the marketing department in collaboration with our partner universities. The ideal candidate will bring a diverse range of experience in marketing roles and should possess creativity, innovation, and a genuine passion for the importance of education. They should also be well-versed in the latest digital and social marketing practices, with a proven ability to lead teams. Experience in the education sector and familiarity with higher education recruitment cycles are essential.

Tasked with marketing online degree programs from one of our university partners, you and your team will collaborate closely with our digital, copywriting, design, and recruitment departments to create impactful campaigns that engage and attract potential students. By leveraging data-driven insights and lessons learned from previous experiences, you will formulate and execute strategies that resonate with our prospective students.

What does success look like?

  • Work closely with your HOM to create and manage the omnichannel marketing strategy and budgets for recruitment into online degrees at our partner universities, and collaborate closely with shared service functions to achieve results
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders. Track campaign performance and provide regular reports to stakeholders
  • Communicate campaign objectives and requirements to creative and digital teams and oversee every stage of the campaign process from conception to execution
  • Take a data-driven approach to market research, defining student personas and creating targeted communication strategies
  • Evolve/Improve existing, and identify new, marketing channels to maximise lead generation and conversion
  • Coordinate with external agencies and internal teams to achieve campaign objectives
  • Coordinate lead generation campaigns, monitor ROI, conversion rate, lead quality, and sales feedback – communicating with digital marketing teams (PPC, Affiliate, Social Media) to ensure they are meeting the budgets you provide. Ensure targets are met or exceeded
  • Take ownership for a dedicated online microsite and respective landing pages, conducting relevant tests (A/B, etc) to ensure efficiency and best performance in lead generation.

What you will bring to the table:

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing is mandatory, while a master's degree or MBA is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of previous marketing experience is required, covering areas such as lead generation campaigns, content marketing, lead nurturing, and email communication strategies.
  • Experience in leading marketing initiatives related to online education is a plus.
  • Strong project management capabilities, along with a willingness to take initiative and explore new ideas.
  • The ability to identify, prioritise, and articulate initiatives with the highest impact, while balancing data driven decisions with logic and creative judgement.
  • Capability to lead a diverse team effectively.
  • Proficiency in English is essential.
