Job Summary: 

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Manager to lead the development and enhancement of our digital twin SaaS platform for offshore energy assets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the offshore energy sector, strong business acumen, and the ability to translate complex customer needs into actionable product features. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including software development, sales, and marketing, to ensure the successful delivery of solutions that meet market demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Understanding and Engagement:
  • Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to deeply understand the needs and pain points of stakeholders in the offshore energy sector.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry partners to ensure alignment with market requirements.

  1. Product Strategy and Roadmap
  • Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the FieldTwin platform.

  • Prioritise product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business objectives

  1. Business Case Development:
  • Build comprehensive business cases for new product features and initiatives, including cost-benefit analyses, competitive analysis, and ROI projections.

  • Present business cases and product plans to senior management and stakeholders for approval and funding.

 4. Communication and Collaboration:

  • Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, from C-suite executives to technical teams, ensuring clear understanding and alignment on product goals and priorities.

  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure cohesive go-to-market strategies and successful product launches.

 5. Agile Software Development:

  • Work with agile development teams to define product requirements, create user stories, and prioritize the product backlog.

  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure continuous delivery of high-quality software

  1. Performance Monitoring and Improvement:
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics to evaluate the success of product features and initiatives.

  • Continuously seek opportunities for product improvement and innovation, based on customer feedback and market trends.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on SaaS solutions for industrial applications.
  • Strong understanding of the offshore energy sector, including Subsea Oil & Gas and Offshore Wind projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing software products in an agile environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build robust business cases and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
