Liza Cobey

Liza Cobey is an experienced professional with a diverse background in research, policy development, and executive support. Currently serving as an Executive Assistant at FWD.us since May 2022, Liza previously worked as a Graduate Research Fellow at Medici Road, where in-depth studies on education, housing, public health, and justice were conducted through a racial equity lens. Liza has also held roles as an Office Assistant at Principia Tutors & Consultants, a Research and Media Intern at Smart Beginnings Rappahannock Area, and as an Undergraduate Intern at Legal Aid Works, demonstrating a strong ability to manage projects, data analysis, and community engagement. Liza holds a Master's degree in Educational Transformation from Georgetown University and a Bachelor's degree in American Studies & Media Studies from Emory University.
