Thomas Litwin has a diverse work experience history, starting as a Cryptologic Technician in the US Navy in 1991. Thomas later served in various roles within the Navy, including Damage Control Assistant and Training Liaison Officer. In 2003, they became a Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) Officer. Thomas transitioned to civilian roles in 2007, working as a Project Scientist at Old Dominion University and Pennsylvania State University. From 2010 to 2014, they served as a Chief Engineer and later a Company Commander in the US Navy. Litwin then moved into the private sector, holding positions at Frontier Technology and G2 Ops, Inc., where they progressed to Director of Intelligence & Cyber Science Data Analytics and then to Director of Innovation and Enterprise. Thomas also joined Penn State University's Industrial and Professional Advisory Council (IPAC) in 2023. Throughout their career, Litwin demonstrated strong leadership skills and expertise in technical programs, business operations, and military service.

Thomas Litwin attended Southern Columbia High School from 1988 to 1991. Thomas then pursued an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts at San Diego Mesa College from 1996 to 1998. Afterwards, Thomas earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Penn State University between 2000 and 2003. Thomas furthered their education by completing a Master of Science in Engineering Management at Old Dominion University from 2006 to 2008. Currently, Thomas is enhancing their skills in Executive Leadership and Performance Leadership at Cornell University.
