John Walmsley

John has built a team of over 80 engineering design staff, delivering on the most ambitious technical challenges at StarFish Product Engineering Inc.

He has overseen the design of over 150 products, including up to 30 concurrently. His early career spanned Research, Development, New Product Introduction, and Product Engineering in high-reliability optoelectronics for Hewlett Packard, Spectra Diode Labs, and JDS Uniphase.

He is a Fellow of the UK Institute of Physics, a frequent industry speaker, and a university lecturer across North America.
