Palmer Morrel-Samuels has an extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Palmer started their career in 1986 as a researcher at IBM. Palmer then worked at Hewlett-Packard as a Director and Senior Consultant from 1991 to 1996. Following that, they joined CFI Group as a Director and Senior Consultant from 1996 to 1998. In 1993, they became a Research Scientist at the University of Michigan Business School until 1999. In 1998, they became the CEO of Employee Motivation & Performance Assessment Inc. (EMPA) and also served as an Expert Witness on surveys, research methods, statistics, and workplace discrimination. From 2000 onwards, they worked as a Partnering Consultant at Gagen MacDonald. Palmer also served as a Lecturer at the University of Michigan starting from September 2009.
Palmer Morrel-Samuels has an extensive education history that includes multiple degrees in various fields of study. Palmer began their educational journey in 1979 at the University of Chicago, where they pursued a Master's degree specializing in Research Methodology and Quantitative Methods. After completing this program in 1980, Palmer Morrel-Samuels went on to pursue higher education at Columbia University. From 1982 to 1989, they obtained a Master of Philosophy degree and a PhD, both specializing in Social Psychology and Research Psychology. Finally, in 2015, Palmer Morrel-Samuels enrolled at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, where they completed a Master of Science in Law specializing in Workplace Discrimination in 2017.
