Matthew Palen

Matthew Palen has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Matthew is currently the Director of Engineering at Gainbridge since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineering Manager at Paradigm from October 2021 to November 2023. Before that, they held the same role at Copado from March 2020 to October 2021. Matthew also worked as a Senior Manager at NewtonX from September 2018 to January 2020 and as a Director of Engineering at LoftSmart from August 2017 to June 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Hearst Digital Media from February 2016 to July 2017, and as a Senior Developer at Two Rivers Trading Group, LLC from August 2011 to April 2014. Matthew also had a role as a Risk Consultant at Primatics Financial from October 2010 to August 2011 and as a Summer Analyst at J.P. Morgan in 2007.

Matthew Palen received a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and East Asian Studies from the University of Virginia in 2008. Matthew later obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University in the years 2011-2014.
