Ekaterina Gilmartin has a diverse range of work experience in various design roles. Ekaterina is currently employed as a User Experience Designer at Gala since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Salary Finance as a Product Designer from 2021 to 2022, where they focused on designing internal and external products to promote financial well-being. In this role, they implemented a user-centered design process and conducted extensive research methods.

Before Salary Finance, Ekaterina worked at Adludio from 2016 to 2021, where they held multiple positions. As a Product Designer (UX & UI), they developed products from idea to production, emphasizing responsive design. Ekaterina also conducted user research and competitor analysis. Ekaterina Gilmartin started their education journey in 2009 at the Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts, where they obtained a Foundation degree in Graphic Design & Illustration in 2010. Ekaterina then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Graphic Design at Kingston University from 2010 to 2013. Ekaterina'seducational achievements continued as they pursued a Master's degree in Design Interactions at the Royal College of Art from 2013 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Ekaterina has also obtained certifications to enhance their skills. In December 2019, they completed the course "How To Design for Accessibility: for UX Designers (WCAG 2.2)" through Udemy. In January 2019, they completed a course on UX & UI, Prototyping, and Coding at The School of UX.
