David Henshaw

Design Lead at Gala Games

David Henshaw has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. David started their career as a professional musician, serving as the lead singer and songwriter for the band Dancing Years from September 2009 to September 2016. During this time, the band toured extensively, headlined shows in the UK and Europe, and received significant radio support and millions of listens on Spotify.

In terms of their design career, David worked as a freelance graphic designer for Kingel Ltd in January and February 2020. David then interned as a graphic designer at Koto from July to August 2020, followed by an internship at Common Curiosity from August 2018 to July 2020, where they also worked as a junior designer.

In 2020, David joined Notepad as a graphic design intern, and within a few months, they were promoted to midweight designer. David held this position until August 2021. Additionally, during their time at Notepad, they also worked as a junior designer from November 2020 to June 2021.

Afterward, David briefly worked as a midweight designer at Moving Studio from August to September 2021 before transitioning to Gala Games. At Gala Games, they started as a midweight designer in October 2021 and then moved on to the role of senior designer in February 2022. David is currently employed with Gala Games.

David Henshaw's education history shows that from 2017 to 2020, they attended Birmingham City University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Communications.
