Tyler Williams has a diverse work experience in legislative and regulatory affairs. Tyler is currently the Head of Legislative & Regulatory Affairs and Regulatory Counsel at Galaxy since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Advisor at FS Vector from September 2021 to February 2022. Tyler also held the position of Principal at a Private Company from May 2020 to February 2022. Before transitioning to the private sector, Tyler worked at the U.S. Department of the Treasury as Deputy Assistant Secretary from July 2018 to May 2020. Tyler also served as Banking Counsel for Senator Thom Tillis in the United States Senate from January 2017 to July 2018. Tyler's experience in legislative roles includes working as the Legislative Director & Counsel for Representative Robert Hurt in the U.S. House of Representatives from April 2015 to January 2017. Tyler also served as Legislative Counsel for Representative Hurt from April 2015 to December 2015. Additionally, Tyler worked as a Legislative Assistant, Legislative Correspondent, and Staff Assistant for Speaker John Boehner in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2012 to 2015. Tyler started their career as a Warroom Intern at the Republican National Committee in 2012. Tyler gained valuable experience as a Legislative Intern for the House Financial Services Committee and for Representative Jim Renacci from 2011 to 2011. Prior to that, they worked at Coleman Research Group as a Project Manager and Research Associate in Business and Financial Services from 2008 to 2011. Overall, Tyler Williams has an extensive background in legislative and regulatory affairs, with experience at various levels of government and in the private sector.

Tyler Williams has a J.D. degree from The George Washington University Law School, which they obtained from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Kenyon College, earning a B.A. in Economics and Biology (pre-Med) from 2004 to 2008. Tyler began their education at The Miami Valley School, where they obtained their high school diploma from 2000 to 2004.
