Matthew R.

Matthew R. has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Matthew is currently serving as the Chief Human Resources Officer at GALE PACIFIC LIMITED since January 2021.

Prior to this, Matthew held the position of Vice President, Human Resources, Food & Commercial Division at Newell Brands from January 2017 to January 2021.

Matthew also served as the Vice President Human Resources at Dynacast International from February 2016 to January 2017. During their time at Dynacast, they were responsible for engineering precision components for various industries.

Matthew had a role at Apex Tool Group, LLC as the Vice President HR, Global Power Tools from December 2014 to February 2016. Matthew was responsible for the global commercial operations of the Power Tools business.

Before that, they worked at Bank of America Merchant Services as the Vice President Human Resources from August 2014 to December 2014, where they focused on providing transaction speed, security, and reliability.

From September 2013 to June 2014, Matthew worked at Piedmont Hardware Brands as the Group VP Human Resources, where they set up payroll and benefits for their North American operations.

Matthew held various global leadership roles at Newell Brands, including Global Vice President Human Resources for the Hardware Segment from December 2012 to September 2013, Global Vice President Human Resources for IRWIN Tools GBU from December 2010 to December 2012, Vice President Human Resources for Asia Pacific from January 2009 to December 2010, Vice President Human Resources for Office Organization GBU from January 2008 to December 2008, and Director Human Resources for North American Sales Group from February 2006 to December 2007.

Matthew also served as the Director Human Resources at IRWIN Industrial Tool from December 2004 to February 2006 and as the Human Resources Manager for Sales at Newell Brands from August 2002 to December 2004.

Matthew began their career as a Project Manager at McKenney's, Inc. from April 2000 to August 2002, where they were responsible for customer relationship management and project implementation.

Before that, they worked as the Human Resources Manager and Project Supervisor at United Mechanical Corporation from June 1999 to March 2000 and from January 1996 to June 1999, respectively. At United Mechanical Corporation, they oversaw all aspects of HR, including recruiting, payroll, benefits, and employee relations.

Matthew R. attended Appalachian State University from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Business Management.
