Leisa Cawthon

Leisa Cawthon has a diverse range of work experience in the senior living industry. Leisa began their career at Principal Senior Living Group in 2009, serving as the Executive Director of Benton House of Douglasville for six years. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as the Executive Director at Azalea Estates. In 2016, they served as the General Manager at a Senior Living Community before transitioning to the role of Executive Director at Riverwood Retirement Management, Inc. from 2016 to 2017. Leisa then joined Enlivant as the Interim Executive Director/Care Services Manager from 2017 to 2019. Leisa worked as the Executive Director at Watercrest Senior Living Group's Newnan location from 2019 to 2021. Following this, they held the position of Regional Director of Wellness at Cedarhurst Senior Living from 2021 to 2022. Leisa subsequently worked as the Regional Director of Clinical Compliance at Atlas Senior Living from 2022 to 2022 before becoming the Director of Wellness at Bridge Senior Living from 2022 to 2023. Currently, Leisa holds the position of Regional Clinical Director at Galerie Living.

Leisa Cawthon has a Nursing Science Diploma from Southern Crescent Technical College, which they obtained between 1993 and 1995. Leisa later pursued an AS in Healthcare Administration at Southern New Hampshire University, starting in 2019. Additionally, Leisa has acquired several certifications, including Certified Director of Assisted Living from Argentum in December 2021, Cares Essentials Dementia Training from the Alzheimer's Association in July 2017, Certification in Long Term Care from NFLPN in 1996, and Certified Dementia Practitioner from NCCDP in April 2019.
