Peter S. Rafferty Mbe Dl

Peter S. Rafferty MBE DL has a diverse work experience spanning from 1981 to the present. Peter S. currently serves as the President of Galvion UK Limited and Vice President of Galvion Power Systems Inc since November 2019. Peter S. also holds the position of Chief of Staff at Galvion since July 2020.

In addition to their role at Galvion, Rafferty has been a Deputy Lieutenant at Lancashire Lieutenancy since January 2019.

Peter S. Rafferty MBE DL obtained a Bsc (Eng) in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the University of Southampton in 1984. In 1999, they became a Member of the City & Guilds. Peter S. then pursued an MSc in Defence Technology from Cranfield University in 1999 and a PGDipl in Military Art & Science from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College in 1998. In 2010, they completed a Higher Education for Acquisition degree in Strategic Leadership, Management, Finance, Commercial, Portfolio, Programme and Project Management from the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom. Furthermore, they obtained an Advanced Management Achievement certificate in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from The University of Manchester in 2014. Rafferty has also obtained various certifications including being a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) in 2014, a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute in 2013, a Management of Portfolios Practitioner from the Office of Government Commerce in 2012, an Association of Project Managers Professional from the Association for Project Management in 2008.
