Mads Gerber has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Mads is currently serving as the Head of Product and Design at GamerPay, a Y Combinator backed startup based in Copenhagen, focused on creating a safe marketplace for gaming skins. Prior to this, Mads founded Gerber Studio, their own consultancy business, where they provided services such as helping businesses design, manage, and grow their digital products, along with offering 1on1 coaching to designers and small business owners.

Before starting Gerber Studio, Mads worked at Verisure where they held multiple roles. Mads served as a Product Management Consultant and played a pivotal role in transforming Verisure Watch, a corporate startup, into a product in the global portfolio. Mads was also a Lead Product Design Consultant at Verisure Watch and undertook responsibilities of product discovery, design, and handover using methodologies such as Design Sprint, Lean Startup, and Growth Hacking. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Product Design Consultant at Verisure Watch, where they facilitated Design Sprints with top executives to define product strategy and ideate solutions, and designed prototypes for user testing.

Mads also co-founded Fiks Design, a boutique digital agency focused on product design and development. During their time there, the company had a portfolio of products and operated with a dual business model. Furthermore, they co-founded Leaf App, where they worked until September 2016.

Mads Gerber completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Techno-Anthropology from Aalborg University, where they studied from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Haderslev Katedralskole from 2006 to 2009 and obtained their STX degree with a focus on Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained certifications in areas such as Introduction to Computer Science from HarvardX - An Online Learning Initiative by Harvard University through edX, and Design Sprint Facilitator from AJ&Smart in February 2020.
