Corporate Communications Manager at Gandeeva Therapeutics

Emily Wight has worked in the communications field since 2005. Emily began their career as a receptionist at The Quigg Group in 2005, then moved to Self-Counsel Press as a Junior Editor in 2007. In 2008, they took on the role of Assistant Communications Coordinator at The University of British Columbia, followed by Communications & Research Manager in 2010. After two years, they moved to the Child & Family Research Institute as an e-Communications Specialist in 2012. In 2014, they became Communications Manager at the Djavad Mowafaghian Centre for Brain Health. In 2020, they were hired as Communications Manager at the Stewart Blusson Quantum Matter Institute. Most recently, they were appointed Corporate Communications Manager at Gandeeva Therapeutics in 2022.

Emily Wight attended The University of British Columbia from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Creative Writing.
