Qiana Elam

Qiana Elam currently serves as a Principal Resident at Garland Independent School District since July 2022, where the focus is on preparing aspiring principals through immersive experiences. Prior to this role, Qiana held the position of Assistant Principal at Plano ISD from August 2018 to July 2022, and worked as an Assistant Principal and Social Emotional Learning Leader at Allen ISD from August 2015 to August 2018. Qiana's early career includes roles as an Educator and Assistant Basketball Coach, teaching Cardio Weights and Intramural Sports at Allen ISD, and as a Physical Education Teacher, as well as various coaching positions at Lewisville ISD from 2007 to August 2015. Qiana earned a Master's degree in Education Administration from Texas Woman's University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer and Information Sciences from Freed-Hardeman University.
