John Grant

John Grant has a long and varied career in business development. John began their career in 2001 as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at UC Berkeley. In 2004, they were an Intern in the Technology Transfer Department at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. From 2005 to 2008, they worked as a Consultant at PA Consulting and L.E.K. Consulting. In 2010, they became a Senior Manager of Business Development at Millennium Pharmaceuticals. In 2014, they were promoted to Associate Director of Business Development at ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, Inc. In 2015, they were promoted again to Director of Business Development and Alliance Management at Intellia Therapeutics, Inc. In 2019, they were promoted to VP of Business Development at Albireo Pharma, Inc. In 2022, they were promoted to Vice President of Business Development at Garuda Therapeutics.

John Grant obtained their PhD in Molecular Biology from The University of Edinburgh and their BSc Hons in Human Sciences with Genetics from UCL.
