Jennifer Oraha

Jennifer Oraha has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jennifer began their career in 2012 as a Checkout Operator at New World, working at Foodstuffs North Island Limited. From 2013 to 2015, Jennifer worked as a Lottery Assistant at Lotto New Zealand. Jennifer then joined Virtual Media in 2016 as a Call Agent. In 2017, Jennifer worked as a Floor Staff at The Brand Outlet. Jennifer later volunteered as an Art volunteer at the Department of Corrections- NZ from March 2018 to September 2018. Jennifer then transitioned to the field of research, working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Sydney from June 2020. Currently, they are employed as a Research Assistant at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, beginning in January 2021.

Jennifer Oraha's education history begins in 2010 at St Marys College in Wellington, where they obtained an NCEA Certificate and UE. From 2015 to 2018, they attended the University of Otago and earned a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience. In 2020 and 2021, they pursued a Master's degree in Brain and Mind Sciences at the University of Sydney. Currently, Jennifer is enrolled at the University of Sydney and is completing their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neuroscience, beginning in 2023 and expected to finish in 2027.
