Tom Lyons

Tom Lyons is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the EU Affairs & Policy Manager at Gas Networks Ireland since March 2014, where roles have included Policy Manager for Decarbonisation and Asset Manager for Pipelines. Prior experience includes positions as a Grid and Electrical Engineer at Bord Gais Energy and an Electrical Engineer at NeoDyne. Tom also held roles as a Power Systems Engineer at EirGrid and a Digital Design Engineer at Analog Devices. Tom holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from University College Cork, completing studies there from 2001 to 2005, after attending St Colmans College in Fermoy from 1995 to 2001.
