Ian Dent

Ian Dent has extensive work experience in various roles within the industrial sales and marketing sector. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director, Industrial Sales, EMEA at Gates Corporation since September 2021. Prior to that, Ian worked at The Timken Company for a significant period, starting in 1995. Their roles at The Timken Company include Managing Director - Europe (from July 2020 to September 2021), Director - Sales and Marketing - Europe (from August 2013 to July 2020), Director - Process Industries - Europe, Turkey, Middle East (from August 2011 to August 2013), General Manager - Distribution, EMEA (from January 2003 to August 2011), Manager - Aftermarket Distribution - West Europe (from May 2000 to January 2003), and Sales Manager - Scandinavia (from June 1995 to May 2000).

Ian Dent attended the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in 2008, where they completed an Executive Development Programme in Business Studies. Ian also attended the University of Leicester for an undisclosed period of time, studying Business Studies.
