Mario Angelucci

Mario Angelucci, CRSP, CHSC has a diverse work experience in health and safety management. Mario currently serves as the Director of Health & Safety and Disability Management at Gateway Casinos and Entertainment Limited, overseeing all aspects of health, safety, wellness, and disability management across Canada. Prior to this, they worked as the Occupational Health and Safety Manager Eastern Region at the same company, where they were responsible for the development, implementation, and management of the health & safety management system.

Before joining Gateway Casinos, Mario worked as the Occupational Health and Safety Manager at CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) EMEA, where they led the development and implementation of a comprehensive Occupational Health & Safety Management System. Mario also served as a Health & Safety Advisor at The Town of Pelham, where they developed and implemented a comprehensive safety system for various town operations.

In addition, Mario has held positions such as Health & Safety Advisor Eastern Canada at Carillion, Regional Health & Safety Manager at Compass Group, Site Safety Manager Contract Role at the Toronto 2015 Pan Am / Para Pan Am Games, and Manager-Safety & Regulatory Compliance at Shoppers Home Health Care. Mario has also worked as a Health & Safety Specialist at Randstad and served as the Manager-Health & Safety Claims, Risk Management at Spherion Canada.

Furthermore, Mario has experience in program management, having worked as the COR Program Manager at the Trucking Safety Council of BC, where they developed standards, protocols, safety courses, and training for the industry's Certificate of Recognition Program.

Throughout their career, Mario has demonstrated proficiency in developing safety systems, implementing policies and procedures, conducting training programs, and promoting a culture of health and safety. Mario has achieved ISO 45001 Standards and has experience in monitoring and improving safety performance, analyzing safety trends, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Mario Angelucci, CRSP, CHSC has a Certificate in Workplace Electrical Safety with a focus on Electrical CSA Z462-18, obtained in 2019. Mario also holds a degree in Marketing Management from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, completed between 1995 and 1997. Mario has pursued additional education in health and safety, including studies at Ryerson University, Algonquin College, and the CSSE. Mario has obtained certifications such as ISO 45001 Internal Auditor Training from BSI in 2020 and Human Factors Incident Investigation from WorkSafeBC in 2016. Mario is also a registered CRSP (Canadian Registered Safety Professional) and a Certified Health & Safety Consultant (CHSC) through the CSSE.
