Ekaterina S. (she/her)

Ekaterina S. has a diverse work experience in the field of software testing and quality assurance. Their most recent position was at gateway.fm, where they worked as a Developer Advocate and Web PM and a QA Automation Engineer starting in 2021. Prior to that, they worked at 0xFF Consulting AB as a Test Engineer from 2021 to 2023. From 2018 to 2021, Ekaterina worked at Luxoft as a Test Engineer, where they were responsible for designing test cases, analyzing requirements, and developing test automation solutions. Ekaterina also has experience as a Test Engineer at Atronic, where they manually tested web applications and automated testing using Selenium WebDriver. Ekaterina's earlier experiences include working at System Verification as a Test Engineer at Atronic, Labatus as a QA Engineer, FlexyMind Ltd. as a QA Engineer for mobile games, and SpecTech Ltd as a QA Engineer. Ekaterina also worked as an Account Manager at SpargoTechnologies. Ekaterina gained initial work experience as an intern at OJSC "Rawenstvo", where they participated in training courses and worked on designing schematic diagrams.

Ekaterina S. attended Baltic State Technical University from 2004 to 2009, where they pursued a degree in Engineering with a focus on information and radio electronic systems. In 2005 to 2007, Ekaterina also attended Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia, where they studied Practical English.

In 2014 to 2015, Ekaterina pursued a "Behörighetsgivande kurs i svenska" at Linköping University.

In addition to their formal education, Ekaterina S. has obtained several certifications. In January 2016, they earned the Foundation Certificate in Software Testing from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board. In April 2020, they received the Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS) certification from Linux Academy. Most recently, in February 2023, Ekaterina obtained a certification in NEGOTIATION AND INFLUENCE from Emeritus.
